Last updated: March 10, 2026

This Intellectual Property Policy outlines the ownership, permitted use, and protection of intellectual property associated with the Domain platform and its services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to respect all intellectual property rights described herein.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All content, materials, and resources made available through the Domain platform are the exclusive property of Domain or its licensors. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Course materials, workshop content, and instructional resources
  • Written text, graphics, illustrations, and visual design elements
  • Software, code, scripts, and interactive tools
  • Audio and video recordings, presentations, and multimedia content
  • Trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand identifiers
  • Databases, data compilations, and structured content formats

All such materials are protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret protections. No ownership rights are transferred to users through access to or use of the platform.

2. Trademarks and Brand Identity

The name "Domain," its logo, and all associated brand elements are proprietary identifiers of Domain. These marks may not be used, reproduced, or incorporated into any other material without prior written consent from Domain.

Unauthorised use of Domain's trademarks or brand elements, including in a manner that may cause confusion or imply endorsement, is strictly prohibited. Third-party trademarks appearing on the platform remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Permitted Use of Platform Materials

3.1 Personal and Educational Use

Users may access and use platform content solely for their own personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This limited licence does not include the right to copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any portion of the platform's content beyond what is necessary for individual participation in the offered programmes.

3.2 Restrictions

Unless expressly authorised in writing by Domain, users are prohibited from:

  • Reproducing, copying, or duplicating any platform content in whole or in part
  • Distributing, selling, sublicensing, or otherwise transferring content to third parties
  • Creating derivative works based on platform materials
  • Using platform content for commercial purposes or competitive activities
  • Scraping, harvesting, or systematically extracting data from the platform
  • Framing, embedding, or mirroring any portion of the platform without authorisation
  • Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Ownership of User Submissions

Users retain ownership of original content they create and submit to the platform, including assignments, project work, forum contributions, and other submissions. By submitting content, users grant Domain a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, and process such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform and its services.

4.2 Representations and Warranties

By submitting content to the platform, users represent and warrant that:

  • They are the original creator of the submitted content or hold all necessary rights to submit it
  • The submitted content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • The content does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material

4.3 Content Standards

Users are responsible for ensuring their submissions comply with all applicable intellectual property laws. Domain reserves the right to remove any content that appears to infringe third-party rights or violate this Policy, without prior notice.

5. Copyright Infringement and Takedown Procedure

5.1 Reporting Infringement

If you believe that any content available on the Domain platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please notify us promptly. Your notice should include the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property you claim has been infringed
  • A description of the material on our platform that you believe to be infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it
  • Your contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or applicable law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Notices should be submitted to: [email protected]

5.2 Response to Notices

Upon receiving a valid and complete infringement notice, Domain will review the claim and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content. Domain will notify the user responsible for the content where required and feasible.

5.3 Counter-Notices

If you believe that content you submitted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice including your identification, a description of the removed content and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was mistaken, and your consent to appropriate jurisdiction for resolution of the dispute.

6. Third-Party Intellectual Property

The platform may include content, tools, or resources provided by third parties under licence. Such third-party content remains the intellectual property of the respective rights holders and is subject to the terms of the applicable licences. Domain makes no claim of ownership over third-party intellectual property incorporated into the platform.

Users must not use, reproduce, or distribute third-party content available through the platform in any manner that exceeds the scope of the licence under which it is provided.

7. Open Source Components

Certain components of the Domain platform may incorporate open-source software. Such components are provided under their respective open-source licences, the terms of which take precedence with respect to those specific components. Nothing in this Policy limits any rights granted under applicable open-source licences.

8. Confidential Information and Trade Secrets

Platform methodologies, proprietary teaching frameworks, technical systems, and business processes constitute confidential information and trade secrets of Domain. Users who obtain access to any such information through their use of the platform agree to maintain its confidentiality and not to disclose or use it for purposes outside their permitted participation in the platform's programmes.

9. Enforcement and Remedies

Domain actively enforces its intellectual property rights. Unauthorised use of Domain's intellectual property may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of platform access
  • Demands for cessation of infringing activity
  • Claims for damages and other legal remedies available under applicable law

Domain reserves all rights not expressly granted in this Policy. The failure to enforce any provision of this Policy on any particular occasion does not constitute a waiver of Domain's rights to enforce the same provision on any subsequent occasion.

10. Modifications to This Policy

Domain reserves the right to update or modify this Intellectual Property Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
